Contemporary Indian Miniature Paintings

My contemporary Indian Miniature paintings began in 2023. They are made using found images or derived from sources within my own imagination. Recently, I have been integrating Western and Indian representational forms to create hybridised paintings. For example, in my Colorado mountainscapes, I use highly saturated colour photographs from vintage magazines to initiate new works, re-envisioning these majestic Western landscapes in exquisitely rendered miniatures.
